In the Vasiliki Bay, one of the most spectacular surfing areas in the Mediterranean, there are several surfing schools, offering lessons, leading to a surfing license. You can also rent hobby catamarans and get your first experiences on them.

Guests who are interested in discovering the scenery of the bays and beaches, can rent a horse in and make wonderful tours through the country side.

The hikers among you should not miss the opportunity, to take different hikes with our friend Helmut Karcher. Levkas offers breathtaking scenery and a variety of ways in which to explore nature. Under his experienced guidance you can collect thyme and sage or view the surf at the historical rock of Sappho at Cape Ducato. In Englouvi you will be fascinated by the old stone houses with the roofs used as threshing places. The stunning view of the Ionian islands is unforgettable. Helmut Karcher has been living on Levkas for many years. As a true nature lover he knows the hidden beauties of the island. Thanks to his knowledge of the Greek language it is easy to communicate with the locals.
